The Warriors win the coin toss and defer to receive until the second half. On the Cougars second play, a hard hit by Adam Manzoni causes a fumble and Chris Cohen makes the recovery for DV.
Less than two minutes into the game, Bryan Schor finds TE Connor Decker for a 31 yd. pass which sets up the Warriors deep in Cougar territory. On the next play, Chris Cohen punches it into the end zone. 2 point conversion, no good.
Hazleton marches downfield on a 65 yd drive but could not breach the Warrior defense on a 4th and goal thanks to the efforts of DV linemen, Brandon Clemons, Josh Reynolds and Mark Ranaudo.
The Warriors take over on downs. Bryan Schor looking downfield, again, finds Connor Decker for a 35 yd gain. Schor follows up with a completion to WR Joe Todora to set the Warriors up on the 2yd line. Cohen dives over the line for another Warrior TD. 2 point conversion again, unsuccessful.
The Warrior defense again gets possession of the football with an interception made by Jeremy Engel. DV offense takes the field with Schor at the helm, again finding his man down field. This time DV FB Adam Manzoni makes the catch and takes it to the end zone for DV's 3rd score of the night. Joe Hunt makes the kick and DV is leading Hazleton 19-0.
Hazleton drives down field but the Warrior defense proves impenetrable with another 4th down standoff at the goal line.
With 2 minutes left in the half, Bryan Schor, in the zone, completes a 60 yd TD pass to Bob Morley. Hunt comes through with the extra point.
With seconds remaining in the half DB John Harsch intercepts a Cougar pass and the Warriors head off to the locker room leading Hazleton 26-0 at the half.

Forced to punt on 4th down, a bad snap is recovered by Hazleton putting them in position to score on DV's 15 yd line. DV LB Joe Basile intercepts Hoffmans pass returning the ball to the Warriors.
Bryan Schor, confident and poised in the pocket, again finds Connor Decker who goes the distance 85 yards to the house!
With 2 minutes to go in the 3rd qtr, team work returns possession back to Warriors. Marc Wagner strips the ball from the hands of the Cougar RB and Cory Savarese is there to recover the fumble.
With the Warriors leading 40-6, most of our starting line offers encouragement from the sidelines as younger players gain some varsity level experience.
Sophomore QB Gianni Gelormino, makes his Friday Night debut with a pass completion to Lucas Markowitz which leads to a goal line stand off. The Cougars take over on downs on their own 2 yd line. Hazletons RB, Brian Campbell, breaks free into open field for a 97 yd dash to the end zone.
Running out of time, the Cougars score on a QB keeper by Chad Hoffman and the extra point is good.
A true team effort gives the win to Delaware Valley. The Warrior defense gave up nothing and some outstanding plays on Special Teams by Justin Beach, Josh Edleman and Dylan Brown, kept field position in favor of the Warriors. But it was the cool head and strong arm of Bryan Schor as he lead the offense, that was the game maker, going 11 for 13 pass completions for a total of 292 yards and 3 touchdowns! Way to go Bryan!
The final score: DV - 40 Hazleton - 20
And the Warriors move to 3 and 0!
