Delaware Valley at North Pocono (2011 Varsity)

On Friday, October 07 2011 at 7 p.m., the DV Warriors beat North Pocono by a score of 55 - 23.

The Warriors traveled to North Pocono in week 6 to face the Trojans.

DV’s RB, Joe Santiago scored twice in the first quarter.

Dominating the first half, Delaware Valley scored three more touchdowns in the second quarter; Martin Strenk plowed through the defense on a 1 yard run, Bob Morely caught a 19 yard pass from QB Brian Schor, Schor ran the ball into the end zone with 4 seconds left in the half.

The Trojans managed to get a drive going late in the second quarter and scored on a 5 yard run.

The Warriors were up 34-7 at halftime.

Joe Santaigo scored again for DV in the third. Teammate Zach Van Duzer scored on a 2 yard run to finish out the third quarter.

The fourth quarter saw more of the same as DV’s Cody Sebring scored on a 40 yard run. The Trojans were able to score twice more in the fourth against DV’s secondary.

DV retains their undefeated record and brings home a 55-23 win over the Trojans.
